ACTIPH Water is teaming up with breast cancer charity Walk the Walk, as the UK’s first alkaline ionised water brand donates 80,000 bottles of water to the thousands of walkers and volunteers taking part in this year’s MoonWalk events in London and Scotland.

Walk the Walk and ACTIPH Water share similar values of encouraging healthy living through regular exercise as well as eating and drinking well. ACTIPH is made by purifying spring water, adding electrolytes and energising it by ionisation to produce the highest pH water available; helping people achieve a feeling of natural balance.

What is particularly exciting is that the bottles are 100% recyclable which fits with Walk the Walk’s strong recycling policy.

Nina Barough CBE, Founder and Chief Executive of Walk the Walk told Charity Today: “I am really delighted that ACTIPH Water has chosen to support Walk the Walk and unite against breast cancer at our flagship MoonWalk events. It is very inspiring to work with a company that shares similar health and ethical values, and not least of all surrounding global waste and the issues that plastic is causing. The ACTIPH Water comes in 600ml easy to carry sportscap bottles, which means we can all be less wasteful with the water, and all bottles are 100% recyclable which makes me very happy.”

Jamie Douglas-Hamilton, Founder of ACTIPH Water explained: “The MoonWalk events appealed, not only because of the excellent work that Walk the Walk does, but the association with ordinary people stepping up to do something extraordinary to raise funds for an amazing cause.  ACTIPH Water is all about supporting people in their daily challenges, however great or small, and helping them to balance their bodies every day, and what better way to demonstrate that than by working with such an inspirational group of people.”

Walk the Walk has raised more than £123 million since 1996, with the money granted funding both research into breast cancer and to help improve the lives of those living with cancer now.
