Nation’s autism heroes celebrated at The Autism Hero Awards 2018

The Radisson Blue Portman Hotel in Central London played host to the annual Autism Hero Awards at the weekend.

The hotel was awash with members of the autism community who all arrived looking very smart and ready for their red carpet entrance. The guests enjoyed arrival drinks and a delicious three-course meal ahead of the opening performances.

It was the Pineapple Performing Arts school that opened the evening with a fantastic dance routine, and they were followed by some stars of this year’s Autism’s Got Talent show; Matthew Shelton, Calvin Glen and Charlotte Fieldson whose performances had the audience on their feet giving a standing ovation.

But then it was time to settle down and get on with the important business of presenting the awards. A total of twelve awards were handed out.
