Nominations open for the Charity Today Awards 2023

The Charity Today Awards are back for another year, and the nominations are now open! This is a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible work that charities, volunteers and fundraisers across the United Kingdom are doing to improve the lives of others.

The awards are split into four categories, giving recognition to those who are making a real difference in their communities. The categories are UK Charity of the Year, James E. Smith Special Recognition Award, UK Volunteer of the Year, and UK Fundraiser of the Year.

The UK Charity of the Year award recognises the outstanding work of a UK charity that has demonstrated exceptional efforts in its field. The James E. Smith Special Recognition Award honours the exceptional work of an individual or organisation that has gone above and beyond in their charitable efforts. The UK Volunteer of the Year award is for an individual who has made a significant contribution to a charity or cause through their voluntary work. Lastly, the UK Fundraiser of the Year award recognises an individual who has excelled in their fundraising efforts for a charity or cause.

The winners of each category will receive up to £1,000.00 in financial donations, an award and certificates, and the Charity of the Year will also get a year’s comprehensive marketing pack. Additionally, they will be treated to a three-course dinner for three people, allowing them to celebrate their hard work and success with those closest to them. It is important to note that there are no nomination fees, and no tickets to purchase.

The Charity Today Awards are a fantastic way to highlight the efforts of those who are working tirelessly to make a difference. With so many people and organisations doing incredible things to help others, it is important to give them the recognition they deserve. The awards not only provide recognition but also help to encourage more people to get involved in charitable activities and inspire others to do the same.

To nominate a charity, volunteer or fundraiser for the Charity Today Awards, head to the awards pages of the website and complete the online ‘Submit A Nomination’ form. 

Nominations close at 5pm on the 14th of July, so be sure to get your nomination in before then! There will be no extensions.
