STV broadcasts hard-hitting documentary about adverse childhood experiences

A hard-hitting documentary examining the impact of stressful or traumatic experiences on children in Scotland will be broadcast on STV on Tuesday 25th September at 19.30.

The revealing and thought-provoking documentary, Who Cares: Breaking the Cycle, looks at Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the devastating effect these have on young people across Scotland. The film asks how we can ensure the best future for the children affected.

Viewers will meet Scottish rapper and award-winning author Darren McGarvey – aka Loki – and public speaker and social commentator Chris Kilkenny as they examine how their own difficult childhood experiences have impacted their lives and visit community projects to learn how they are inspiring change across Scotland.
