Think second-hand first: Charity shops offer stylish, sustainable home finds

THE Charity Retail Association are running their annual campaign to encourage the public to think second-hand first when furnishing a home.

Charity shops offer unique pre-loved furniture and home-wares for a fraction of the price of equivalent new items. By purchasing from charity shops you are not only raising vital funds for good causes but you are also:

  • Giving items a second life
  • Supporting community hubs that combat loneliness and up-skill people
  • Sourcing locally – keeping those carbon miles down
  • Demonstrating your own unique style.

During the course of the week, the CRA will be posting social media content every hour between 9am and 6pm with stunning examples of sustainable living concepts from charity shops all over the country. Take a look and be inspired to think second-hand first when curating your own home space.
