Tunbridge Wells set for a Muddy Dog Challenge to raise funds for Battersea

BATTERSEA Dogs & Cats Home is coming to Kent for this year’s Muddy Dog Challenge. On Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 September, hundreds of participants and their dogs will be taking on a thrilling obstacle course at Eridge Park in Tunbridge Wells and raising money for the animal charity which has a local centre in Brands Hatch.

Muddy Dog Challenge, is the UK’s first ever dog-friendly obstacle run where participants can either enter as a dog and human duo or just humans, to complete 2.5km or 5km obstacle runs. Over 700 people are expected to take part, including Battersea Ambassador David Gandy, in a weekend of fun. Places are still available for dog lovers to sign up until Sunday 9 September.

Vicki Milner, Team Leader at Battersea Brands Hatch, commented: “This will be the second time Muddy Dog Challenge has come to Tunbridge Wells and we’re all really looking forward to it. It should be a great day out for humans and their four-legged friends taking part all the while raising money for all the homeless dogs and cats that come into our care every day.”

Register for Muddy Dog Challenge Tunbridge Wells here. Registration closes Sunday 9 September 2018 at 11:30pm. Human participants must be aged 18 or over and dog participants must be one year or over on event day.
