#UKCharityWeek founder set for TV appearance to talk about his own battles with Mental Health
The founder of the national charity social media campaign #UKCharityWeek is set to appear on Sky TV’s Chrissy B show later this month to talk about his battles with PTSD and Anxiety following some personal tragedies.
Lee Rayment wants to inspire members of the public going through similar experiences to both talk and seek help.
Speaking at the start of Mental Health Awareness Week, Lee said: “Thankfully I’m not someone who is afraid to talk about my experiences. However, I accept that we are all different in how we feel about things which is why I am determined to help those in need feel they are not alone and that it can get better.
“I’m very grateful for any opportunity to help people in this regard. As many people before me have said with such things if this can help even one person it will all be worthwhile.”
Last year, #UKCharityWeek reached a staggering 92million social media timeline deliveries and trending throughout the week with millions raised around the country by various partner charities.
The Chrissy B Show has been broadcast on My Channel (Sky 191) since September 2012, focusing on well-being and mental health, presented by Chrissy Boodram.
The interview will be broadcast on Monday 4th June 2018.
