VIP guests attend launch of NGO, Mayhew Georgia, in Tbilisi

VIPs from countries as far afield as UK, USA and Georgia attended an exclusive event at the British Embassy, Tbilisi on Thursday 23 March to mark the official launch of NGO Mayhew Georgia, which had originally been scheduled for 2020 before being impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Hosted by His Majesty’s Ambassador to Georgia, the Chair of Mayhew’s Board of Trustees, Julianne Hicks and Mayhew’s Head of International Projects and Relations, Caroline Yates, mingled with around 100 attendees and spoke about Mayhew and the work and aims of the Georgian branch, including the recently opened first not-for-profit veterinary clinic in Georgia, set up to help manage the roaming dog population in the capital.
